1st Place (1 winner): NT$10000 and a certificate of merit
2nd Place (2 winners): NT$8000 and a certificate of merit
3rd Place (3 winners): NT$6000 and a certificate of merit
Merit Award (3 winners): NT$4000 and a certificate of merit
Honorable Mention (5 winners): NT$2000 and a certificate of merit
*Every entrant who doesn't get prize will be given a gift.

Submission
- Please download and fill out the “ Entry Form” and “ Consent to Provide Personal Data”
- Please submit electronic files to a specific email address (km.hsu@ nchu.edu.tw) with the subject, 2023年農資學院全英文演講及海報競賽報名_ Institute/Department_name, before the deadline.
The electronic files should include:
- Entry Form
- Consent to Provide Personal Data
- presentation slides(undergraduate) or poster electronic file(graduate student)
※ Poster Electronic File Submission Guidelines: Limited to JPG and PDF formats. The image size should be 85x120 cm, with a resolution of 300 dpi, using the CMYK color mode. The file size should not exceed 20MB. If the file is too large for email submission, please provide a cloud link for download. Posters will be printed by the College of Agricultural Resources.
- The entrants will get a confirmation email and complete the process.
※ No modification can be made after submission.
※ Entry with incomplete files will be disqualified.
※ The number of entrants per group (undergraduate/graduate student) is set at 20. If the number of entrants exceeds this limit, a maximum of 5 entries per department will be accepted. The completion of entries is based on the order of email submissions.
Procedure
- Undergraduate
- Make a slide presentation for 5 minutes (Entrants must strictly adhere to the time allocated to your presentations.) and 2 minutes for a Question and Answer session.
- There will be a placard reminder when 1 minute is left and a bell reminder when 5 minutes are up. The second bell rings when 7 minutes have passed as a signal for the end of the whole presentation(including presentation and a Question and Answer session).
- Graduate student
- Each entrant will have three-time slots with the judges.
- During each time slot, a 5-minute oral presentation of the poster content will be given (Entrants must strictly adhere to the time allocated to your presentations.) and 2 minutes for a Question and Answer session.
Criteria
- English speech skills and expression (pronunciation, intonation, fluency, accuracy, etc.): 40%
- Content of presentation/poster (relevance, structure, visual design, etc.): 40%
- Performance (Question and Answer performance, eye contact, body language, costume, deportment, etc.): 20%
- The judging panel will evaluate the overall scores and decide the list of winners through deliberation.
- If entrants receive the same score, their rankings will be determined by their respective scores in (1) English speech skills & expression and (2) Content of presentation/poster
