From 9 January to 13 February, the Graduate School of Agriculture held an online exchange program for 118 students from its ten partner universities in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, including NCHU. The program, "Transformation of Food, Life, Environment in East Asia and Advanced Research", was organized as a Kyoto University Wild & Wise Collaborative Learning Program, and featured 12 lectures/virtual site visits introducing Japan's culture, agriculture, forestry, and fishery, and showcasing examples of advanced research achievements and their implementation.

Participants also took part in four cultural exchange events and free dialogue with Kyoto University's faculty and students.

The final day consisted of a workshop and a closing ceremony. The former was centered on eight student presentations, delivered by 47 of the 118 program participants, all discussing "Our Sustainable Future". The attending faculty from Kyoto University and partner universities alike expressed surprise at the quality of these presentations, which the students had prepared through three weeks of group work. Especially, our NCHU students, Chen Wei-Chi (陳薇淇), Edyta Wieslawa Zmudczynska (魏嬛玲) and Amado O. Cortez, Jr. (孫艾慕), have taken the "Best Scientific Presentation Award" and "Best Presentation Award".
